This is a desheddding treatment. Many customers have asked to see if they can do the Furminator on their own? We do not discourage this but it’s an extensive process that can take up to two hours. It’s not so much the products and tools that most people think will automatically eliminate the shedding. It really is the prep and post work our groomers do before and after they add the furminator products. An extensive brush out to get rid of the loose hair first , add product and then extensive blow dry and brush out. It’s pretty labor intensive.
